Emma's Sea Star quilt pattern looks complex but it is suprisingly simple to make this lovely 42" x 42" wall hanging.
Two blocks are used. One uses the 6" Quick Curves Template. The curved section is paper pieced and then use the easy sewing curves method to piece the remainder of the block.
The second block is also paper pieced and alternated with the curved block in this stricking setting. You can purchase the 6" Quick Curves Acrylic template or use the paper template provided in the pattern. The acrylic template will make this step easier and more accurate. The acrylic template can also be used to make many other quilts.
Paper piecing masters are provided so you can use your favorite paper for the paper piecing.
Batik fabric used for the cover quilt is from Kaufman called Color Source 6 Batiks. Designed by Elisa Wilson
