Measuring 53" square, it combines nine stitcheries of dogs with a recipe for dog cookies, two fire hydrants, the bear paw block & a lot of piecing to create a quilt honoring man's best friend. For your piecing, choose a large variety of novelty fabrics with themes that relate to the dog blocks. All patterns include a thread chart & use four basic stitches: Backstitch, Running Stitch, French Knot & Lazy Daisy. In addition to all that, this stitchery quilt has two blocks for photo transfers of your own dog. What a wonderful memory! Designed by Dougal Ann Walker.
