Combining the Cake Plate block with some hand applique makes for a scrappy plaid wall hanging. Measuring 28.5" square, we used some simple embroidery to add a finishing touch to our quilt: straight stitch, Satin stitch, French knots & a chain or leaf stitch. Pattern includes reverse applique drawings as well as instructions for needleturn applique, though you may choose to simply piece this lovely floral design. Designed by Debbie Bacon
