Like a bowl of jelly beans, fabrics mix in a jumble of color. To select fabric, choose a multi-colored border fabric to which you coordinate the fat quarters, narrow border and binding. This project begins with simple strip sets cut into squares. Then, there are multiple layout possibilities. The hardest part of this pattern is deciding which layout to use! As long as the fat quarters have a usable width of 19 1/2", even flannels may be used. The techniques used here are very efficient and there is minimal waste of material.
