A tilde is the ~ wavy shape used over some letters in Spanish and looks like a twisted ribbon. This small quilt combines a grid of these tildes or ribbon twists over a dynamic hand dyed background. Careful color placement allows the twists to sping and form dancing pinwheels. The ribbon twists can be cut using the AccuCut Roller Die Cutting system. Check with your local quilt shop for this cutting service or contact me directly. The pre-cut shapes are fused and machine appliqued. A pattern is included to trace and cut your own ribbon twists.
