I've been designing quilt patterns for eight years, and for eight years I have wanted to design one that would work as a tree skirt. For eight years ideas have flit into my head, stayed long enough to prove they were too complicated, and flit back out, leaving me slightly depressed and wondering if I would ever come up with something that fit my style and "fun over fuss" philosophy.
