Designed by Becky Stefanoff, Pieces of Summer features simple log cabin piecing with four fusible applique blocks representing the season. Measuring 44" square, this pattern includes block appliques as well as the motifs that appear in the border: a flag, an ice cream cone, a hat, a dragonfly, a carrot, a strawberry, a beach ball, a fish & a glass of lemonade. If you feel like tackling a smaller quilt project, this adorable applique design is also available as individual blocks that can be made into pillows or wall hangings: Melon (BAMT1029) & Sailing (BAMT1045).
