Among America's favorite traditions are Christmas celebrations and making quilts, two customs increasingly linked as the years go by. This book offers a variety of 5 pieced and appliqued quilts drawn from antique examples, updated to today's cotton prints. Instead of the bright Turkey reds, lime greens, and cheddar yellows found in the antique versions, the quilts here offer cranberry reds, cedar greens, and butternut golds. In place of the classic white backgrounds we've chosen ivories, eggnogs, and nutmeg tans, shades to complement today's decorating palette. Designed by Karla Menaugh
