PRAIRIE STARS

Two different sized stars and the Courthouse Steps Log Cabin block combine to make this 60" x 84" quilt. Each of the two different blocks is colored half light and half dark and, when the blocks are sewn together, resemble the Straight Furrows variation of the Log Cabin. Use darker fabrics for a more antique look reminiscent of life on the prairie or use brighter fabrics for a more traditional or contemporary look. Designed by Carolyn Beam
