Our second pattern in the Getting Ready for Christmas Series is Trimming the Tree or Lille Julaften. In Norway "Lille Julaften" is the day before the 24th of December. In the evening everybody is busy trimming the tree & decorating the house for Christmas Eve. Measuring 18.5" square, this original holiday design uses paper foundation piecing & fusible applique to feature two children trimming a Christmas tree with hearts while their cat watches quietly from the corner. With its border of Log Cabin blocks, this Christmas pattern includes foundation templates & applique motifs as well as layout diagrams & complete directions.
