STARS OF THE ORIENT

These stars consist of five different fabrics that blend & sparkle using a square in a square technique. Measuring 63.5" square, the water lily pieced border adds floral color without applique to this pieced quilt design. Remember to choose different values for each surrounding star, so that the design shows well. Scraps can sometimes be just enough to get you through if you have the right color! I used Japanese fabrics & added complimentary florals for the cover quilt. Designed by Debbie Bacon
