There's no need to unthread and re-thread your sewing machine to wind more bobbins. The Side Winder runs with a power cord that is included or on 2 AA batteries. The Side Winder also accommodates all bobbins that have a standard round center hole. It does NOT accommodate Singer Centaur II, Viking & Futura sewing machines bobbins. Because of it's compact size, the SideWinder can be used anywhere- in class, on location or at home.
