Seasonal floral series combining a simple pieced background, machine appliqué, and beaded embellishment to create 32” x 15” wall hangings featuring a flower for each season. Using several different prints in the same tones and values for the background and again for the different elements of the flower lends depth and movement to the otherwise simple designs, and embellishments range from shells, buttons and beads to anything your creativity will allow. White poinsettias pop from a maroon background. Flowers could easily double as magnolias. Pattern includes tip for using leftover blocks as quilted ornaments.
