    Coloring Quilt Patterns

What a great way to get the kids or grandkids involved in quiltmaking! Every child loves to color (even teenagers when no one is looking!). You’ll be preserving their artwork – not just hanging it on the refrigerator for a while. Let out your inner child and color the blocks yourself. All you need are regular Crayola crayons and some freezer paper or other stabilizer. Many of these designs combine embroidery for another dimension of color. Color is all around: in the fabrics, the crayons, the embroidery. Several of these projects are full sized quilts that will look beautiful on a wall. While you can wash these quilts it’s probably best not to wash too often – do it in cold water, gentle cycle, and hang to dry.
